Bulles d'Enfance

The 18 painters and sculptors brought together for this exhibition have accepted a delicate challenge: to translate into colours, materials and forms what childhood leaves in each of us, well beyond the years.

As you explore the works, you may rediscover a forgotten memory, a game, a look, an emotion… or simply a moment from your own childhood.

We are pleased to invite you to discover our new exhibition:

CHILDHOOD BUBBLES

From 17 September to 5 November 2026

Through worlds that are sometimes tender, joyful, poetic, or more profound, each artist offers a personal vision of childhood. Paintings and sculptures converse to create an exhibition rich in emotion, where everyone can recognize themselves, marvel, or simply be moved.

But Bulles d'Enfance is also an exhibition that carries hope.

Because some children unfortunately see their carefree bubble disrupted by illness, part of the sales of the works will be donated to the association Les P'tits Soleils, which supports young patients at the Laval Hospital Center.

The funds raised will allow us to renew the games for the youngest patients and offer them, for the duration of their stay, a few moments of smiles and escape.

To keep this exhibition alive over the coming weeks, we are offering several events focused on art and creativity:

– Sunday, September 20 – 15 p.m.:
painting demonstration with Jean-François Morro (free).

– Saturday, October 3 – from 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.:
Meet and greet with children's authors Jane Barber and Fabienne Touchais Raimbault (free entry – books for sale on site).

– Saturday, October 10 – from 16 p.m. to 18 p.m.:
Pastel demonstration by Marie-Claire Ricaux (free).

– Saturday, October 24 – from 14:30 p.m. to 17:30 p.m.:
Papercraft workshop led by Marie-Claire Pinson (registration required, €10 – materials provided).
