Humans and the climate from prehistory to the present day
What if global warming began in prehistory?
Explore its causes and consequences in the light of archaeology. Walk in the footsteps of prehistoric humans who had to adapt to explore the world as their environment changed.
The Museum of Prehistory offers a look back at the natural changes between the glacial and interglacial periods, which shaped the landscape, from the global scale to the Erve Valley!
This exhibition, open to all, offers digital and interactive experiences accessible to children, with handling and fun activities, to understand the evolution of the climate over the past 2,6 million years.
Project carried out by the Museum of Prehistory, in partnership with the National Institute for Preventive Archaeological Research (INRAP).
Exhibition included in museum admission, at no extra charge.
Opening hours are the same as the Museum of Prehistory (see our website for details on the period).
