To name but two: in Brissac-Quince, you will see from far away the very high (seven floors!) but nevertheless elegant castle remodelled and renovated since the 15th century. In Montsoreau, the tufa stones stand alongside contemporary works: since 2016 the castle has had a permanent exhibition dedicated to Conceptual Art.
