In the Erve valley, there are 2 villages classified as Small Towns of Character®, Saulges and Saint-Pierre-sur-Erve. Near the village of Saulges, in a wooded canyon, there are 22 caves, 2 of which can be visited with a guide, Margot Cave and Rochefort Cave. It is also in the valley of the Saulges caves that we find the only decorated caves north of the Loire. The prehistory museum, allows you to dive into this cave using a 3D digital device.
Near Saulges, the village of Saint-Pierre-sur-Erve or “Rêve”, is also a must-see in the Coëvrons! Come and admire the works of artists, hidden here and there, as you stroll, in this small village full of charmThe little extra of this village is that there is a associative bistro, this one invites you to discover the beer “La Mayennaise” produced in the village by the Brasserie “L'Eveilleuse”.
