LA PORTE COCHÈRE, 2 CHAMBRES JUSQU'À 4 PERSONNES

Bed and Breakfast, Saulges, Small town of character and Natura 2000 site in Mayenne
If you'd like to explore the charming little town of Saulges and its Natura 2000 listed site with its prehistoric caves, stay alone or with your family at Carole and Laurent's. Two guest rooms with a separate kitchen and essential services to extend your stay.
In the heart of the village, close to the 2 churches and the gourmet restaurant l'Ermitage.
Explore the hiking trails (PR and GR) that lead you to the Erve Valley and the caves for an immersion between prehistory and geology. The Museum of Prehistory, with its modern scenography, is a must-see for its collections and its numerous workshops/activities for adults and children (follow the program). You can also have a snack or a meal at the Taverne des Grottes, on the banks of the river.
The hiking trails are exceptional, the Erve has carved out a canyon, accentuating the differences in altitude: valley, hillsides, Japanese steps, fields grazed by Ouessan sheep, others by Aurochs (ancestor of our domestic ox).
A climbing site, certified by the French Federation of Mountaineering (FFME), including beginner and advanced climbing areas. In place since 1988, the equipment (rings or quick links at the top of the routes, sealed pins) allows climbing on more than 160 routes from 10m to 25m in height.
In summer, Saulges offers a natural swimming pool.
Shops and services: Vaiges (10km) or Meslay du Maine (14km).
On site, if you need a meal, jars are available for sale directly from the producer (local producers).
Garage for storing bicycles and motorcycles.
Possibility of parking a car in the fenced yard.
