Enter the Château and go inside the 17th-century residence of Mr. Fouquet de la Varenne. This is where the CIAP (Center for the Interpretation of Architecture and Heritage) is located.

The building has housed the CIAP since 2009. This is a place for information, meetings and education on the heritage of the Coëvrons-Mayenne region of art and history and, beyond, of the entire Mayenne department in its most diverse forms: archaeology, monuments, fauna, flora, landscapes, know-how…

Permanent and temporary exhibitions are on display throughout the year. Audiovisuals, models, lecterns, tactile devices, wall projections, panels, guided tours and educational workshops allow you to discover the many facets of Mayenne's heritage.
