2-day/1-night hiking weekend
We offer a 2-day, 1-night hiking trip in the Coëvrons region. You will be accommodated in an authentic holiday village located in Sainte-Suzanne.
- 1 Day: Loop 28 "Between Erve and Charnie" (8.5km in 2h30) around Sainte-Suzanne… Enough to discover all the richness of the area surrounding the pearl of Maine! Why not a picnic at Tertre Ganne followed by a guided tour of the medieval city or other possible service.
- Night in a chalet in the holiday village
- 2 Day: two loops on the day's program – Loop 33 "Oratory Circuit" et Loop 34 "St. Pierre circuit" A 16 km route will allow you to discover the charming small towns of Saulges and Saint-Pierre-sur-Erve. Picnic delivery is available for lunch in the great outdoors.
Suzannaise Day… along the water
Sainte-Suzanne and its mills…
- 10:00 am: Guided tour of the paper mill. One of the last master papermakers in France will explain the production of pure rag paper using traditional methods. (1 hour 30 minutes)
- Lunch at the crêperie "La perle du Maine"
- 2:30 pm: Guided walk of the mills. Discover the rich industrial past of the town and its approximately 20 mills located along the Erve river over 2 km (14 hours).
