Step 3: SAINTE-GEMMES LE ROBERT CHURCH

The church houses a granite holy water font from the 1895th century and another from the 1689th century. In addition, it contains a fragment of a XNUMXth-century wooden statue of Christ, a painting by Albert Vivet in XNUMX on the theme of the Annunciation, and a tuffeau and marble altarpiece created by François Langlois in XNUMX.
Step 4: ETIVEAU CHAPEL

The Sainte Anne chapel in Etiveau dates from 1723.
There is an inscription above the entrance door with the date. Destroyed by fire in 1891, the chapel was rebuilt a year later thanks to donations. A wooden altar was placed in the chapel, a gift from the Sisters of Evron. The old granite altar still stands near the chapel.

Step 6: CHURCH OF SAINT GERVAIS AND SAINT PROTAIS IN HAMBERS
The church dates back to the 1684th century, and its Romanesque architecture was remodeled in the XNUMXth and XNUMXth centuries. The last stone of the choir, designed by Abbot Jean Nourry, was laid in XNUMX.
The building's exterior distinctive feature lies in its bell tower, reinforced with buttresses and an intermediate arch. This type of bell tower is exceptional in the region.
