The most famous megalithic monument in Mayenne, located in Sainte-Suzanne , the dolmen des Erves is the oldest dated: more than 6500 years old!
Following numerous excavations in the 19th and 20th centuries, it was discovered in this megalithic burial human bones of fourteen individuals including five children, proof of the collective nature of megalithic tombs.
