The CIAP, a Tourism and Disability-certified museum, is located in the Château de Sainte-Suzanne. A true showcase for the department, its interactive and educational facilities, accessible to all, allow visitors to discover the heritage of Mayenne.
Housed in the 17th century dwelling of the Château de Sainte-Suzanne, the CIAP (Centre d'Interprétation de l'Architecture et du Patrimoine) is a place of information, meeting and education on the heritage of the Pays d'art et d'histoire Coëvrons-Mayenne and, beyond, of the entire department of Mayenne in its most diverse forms: archaeology, monuments, fauna, flora, landscapes, know-how... Permanent and temporary exhibitions. Audiovisuals, models, lecterns, tactile devices, wall projections, panels, guided tours and educational workshops allow visitors to discover the many facets of local heritage.
