MOULIN DE GÔ

Located in the Erve valley in Saint Pierre sur Evre, the Moulin de Gô is a water mill.
“The route along the Erve Valley is a veritable mill route. In Saint-Pierre-sur-Erve, labeled a “Petite Cité de Caractère,” our Gô mill is the only one to have preserved its equipment: wheels, mechanism, gears, etc. It is therefore important to preserve it and make it known. It operated until 1964 for animal flour. Built in the XNUMXth century, on the remains of a medieval mill, it experienced its golden age in the XNUMXth century. While continuing to renovate it, we are keeping it alive to share this heritage that is the memory of the milling world.
The mill is open on Sundays from the end of May to the end of August, from 14:00 pm to 18:00 pm. You can discover how the mill works thanks to explanatory posters and QR codes located inside the mill, and you can stroll outside the mill to enjoy the bucolic and natural atmosphere of the place.
