LA VALLÉE DE LA JOUANNE
The Jouanne River crosses the Coëvrons du Nord in the East.
The Jouanne River rises in Bais, north of Mayenne, swells with several streams, and notably waters the meadows south of the village of Brée. These meadows are recognized as an Area of Ecological Interest for Fauna and Flora, where plants called "fritillaria" or "wild tulips" bloom in spring. Crossing Montsûrs, the Jouanne receives the Deux-Evailles stream, its main tributary, and then winds between the valleys of Saint-Cénéré.
