Every year, at the beginning of July, this festival is a musical highlight of the sacred repertoireIn the evening, enthusiasts gather in the cool of the Basilica of Evron to listen to concerts by local and internationally renowned musical ensembles.
The 23nd edition of the Sacred Arts Festival of Évron, in Mayenne, will take place from July 3 to 8, 2026. 7 groups of artists and music enthusiasts will follow one another over the course of these 6 days. Moving from music from the Middle Ages to the present day, nearly 1000 years of musical tradition will resonate during the festival, vibrating in the Basilica of Notre-Dame de l'Épine.
2026, un retour aux Racines
Le thème de cette nouvelle édition est Racine(s) : Un mot simple, mais essentiel. Parler de racines, ce n’est pas céder à la nostalgie mais bien parler autant de ce qui nous précède, que de ce qui continue à nourrir le présent. C’est aussi reconnaître ce qui relie les œuvres, les artistes, les lieux et les publics. C’est la raison pour laquelle cette 23 ème édition a choisi de se consacrer à ces multiples racines qui sont nos fondations.
This édition placée sous le signe de la transmission et du lien se veut un temps à part dans lequel chacun est invité à vivre des émotions hors du temps.

La billetterie ouvrira cette année le mardi 12 mai 2026, à 15h. Vous pourrez acheter vos billets sur le site internet du Festival d’Arts Sacrés mais aussi auprès de l’unique point de vente physique, la médiathèque d’Evron, située Place Pierre Mendès-France.
The beginnings of the FAS
Choose a thousand-year-old place, imbued with spirituality, and program the songs and music that were played there a few centuries earlier! This was the approach of the town hall of Evron in 2003, during the first edition of the Festival of Sacred Arts. This makes 21 editions that the Basilica of Evron hosts sacred music concerts at the beginning of July, bringing to life the history of its centuries-old stones.
For all lovers of heritage, music and song, because here “To sing is to enjoy twice” : of the ancient place and of the music.
