Everywhere in MayenneFor nearly a month each summer, the traveling festival "Les Nuits de la Mayenne" takes over exceptional sites in the Coëvrons region, such as the Château de Sainte-Suzanne and other, sometimes hidden, locations, bringing theatrical art to the heart of the heritage. This year, Mayenne Culture is programming 11 shows, also featuring music, dance, circus arts, and more.

Since 1973, between July and August, this traveling theatre festival has offered staged productions and reinterpretations of classic plays, showcasing heritage through live performance. Visitors can rediscover the Château de Sainte-Suzanne at night, serenaded by crickets, under colorful spotlights that highlight the details of its architecture. Don't hesitate, join us for the 53rd edition in the summer of 2026!
The shows take place in various locations in Mayenne; here are the dates in the Coëvrons region:
- Friday, July 17th at the Town Hall garden in La Bazouge-des-Alleux, at 21:30 p.m., the Crescite Company will perform Here lay Cyrano, an adaptation of Edmond Rostand's classic
- On Wednesday, August 5th, the Château de Sainte-Suzanne will host a double-deck event for the closing night
- At 19 p.m., a surprise show is scheduled in conjunction with " The Talking Tree" , Mayenne festival honoring emerging artists from August 7 to 9.
- At 21:30 p.m., The Barber of Seville, by Beaumarchais, performed by the Compagnie Les Modits.
