Nicolas's expertise and curiosity lead him to a lifelong exploration of wood. He finds a balance between mastering and letting go of this living material. He listens to the wood, which guides his actions.
Discovery course – 2 hours
Make a simple piece: €60
– How the lathe works and safety rules
– The different ways of fixing wood on the lathe
– Learning and making a simple piece: spinning top, egg cup, vase, pencil holder, etc.
Audience: From 14 years old – Beginners
Adult introductory course –
Half day (4 hours): €100
1 day (7 hours): €160
2 days: €250
– Integrate the basics of filming
– Master the main tools: gouge, chisel, plane, etc., know the different uses of each.
– Acquire the right gestures
– Use additional tools: barley grain, cutter or trencher, scrapers, digging gouges, etc.
