LE POTAGER DE GAËL
Gaël Thoreau, established since November 2012 as a market gardener and cattle breeder at PENGAUDERIE located in the commune of Neau in the Coëvrons. My farm is certified Organic Agriculture and grows a variety of seasonal vegetables.
We do not use pesticides or synthetic fertilizers, in accordance with organic specifications. The cows provide us with high-quality natural fertilizer in addition to green manure, and rainwater is collected in a 2000 cubic meter reservoir, allowing us to be independent of the drinking water network.
There are two of us full-time, one apprentice and two or three seasonal workers depending on needs, on an area of 3 hectares of diversified vegetables in open fields and 2000m² of tunnels.
I offer seasonal vegetables all year round in my open premises: Fridays from 16:30 p.m. to 18:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. I also offer meat boxes 3 times a year.
